This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the supportive prepositions "yi", "ping", and "an" in modern Chinese. Through a comprehensive and systematic examination of their rational meaning, color meaning, syntactic function, collocation object, and communicative function, this study utilizes a wealth of authentic corpus data to clarify the usage patterns and subtle differences among these prepositions.
