党的二十大明确指出，要坚定不移地推动区域协调发展，坚持走合理分工、优化发展的路子，形成优势互补、高质量发展的区域经济布局。本文认为优先发展区域中心城市就是一个优先发展的好路子，通过培育区域经济增长极、区域经济中心，发挥中心城市的集聚引领性和对区域发展的辐射带动性，坚持构建重视效率、分配公平的市场体制，政府要围绕“以人为核心的新型城镇化”目标，从产业、技术、人才等多方面推动中心城市高质量发展，积极引导城市集聚经济向周边区域溢出，建设“中心城市辐射带动乡镇发展”的渐进性富裕有效机制，推动区域整体性发展，从而实现先富到共富的伟大飞跃。

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has clearly stated the need to unwaveringly promote coordinated regional development, adhering to a path of rational division of labor and optimized development, to form a regional economic layout characterized by complementary advantages and high-quality development. This paper argues that giving priority to the development of regional central cities is a viable path for priority development. By cultivating regional economic growth poles and centers, we can leverage the agglomeration and leading roles of central cities, as well as their radiating and driving effects on regional development. We should adhere to the construction of a market system that emphasizes efficiency and equitable distribution. The government should focus on the goal of "people-centered new-type urbanization" and promote high-quality development of central cities from multiple aspects such as industry, technology, and talent. We should actively guide the spillover of urban agglomeration economies to surrounding regions, establish a gradual and effective mechanism for "central city radiation driving township development," promote overall regional development, and thus achieve the great leap from initial prosperity to common prosperity.
