There are many masters in the history of the Northern Song Dynasty, and Su Shi is undoubtedly the brightest one in the Northern Song Dynasty. Su Shi experienced three ups and downs in his life, and the world praised him for his open-minded attitude and heroic style of writing. Few people can see Su Shi's ambivalence before he became enlightened. This paper mainly explores the development of his spiritual path according to the changes of his literary style in different periods.
