楚绣是先秦时期楚国的刺绣，属于文化遗产范畴，是一种具有历史、艺术、科学价值的文物。荆州民间刺绣源于楚绣，是楚文化的活态见证。荆州民间刺绣已被列入湖北省公布的第四批非物质文化遗产名录，通过分析楚绣的起源、发展历史、传承原因、发展困境并提出发展建议，以期更深入地了解和把握楚绣，让楚绣更好地传承。

Chu embroidery is the embroidery of Chu in the pre-Qin period, which belongs to the category of cultural heritage and is a kind of cultural relic with historical, artistic and scientific value. Jingzhou folk embroidery originates from Chu embroidery, which is a living witness of Chu culture. Jingzhou folk embroidery has been included in the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage list announced by Hubei Province. By analyzing the origin, development history, inheritance reasons, development dilemma and putting forward development suggestions, we hope to understand and grasp the Chu embroidery in a deeper way so that it can be better inherited.
