中国留学生目前已经成为美国国际学生的最大群体。留学期间，留美中国学生常常会有“边缘人”感觉，表现为环境的不适感、内心的孤独感、身份的焦虑感、学业的压迫感、人际交往的疏离感等。究其原因，一是由于学生对留学准备不充分，二是由于文化中断带来的影响，三是由于文化差异造成的冲击。要改变这一状况，留学生必须强化语言能力、积极学习跨文化知识、不断提高跨文化适应力、建立社会支持网络、认同中国文化。

At present, the Chinese over-seas students in the United States have now become the largest part of overseas study groups.They often feel "marginal people", which manifested as discomfort to the environment,inner loneliness,identity anxiety,academic oppression,and alienation in interpersonal communication.There are some influencing factors, which the students are not sufficiently prepared to study abroad, impact of cultural interruption,the impact caused by cultural differences.To change this situation, they must strengthen their language skills, learn cross-cultural knowledge, continuously improve cross-cultural adaptability, establish a social support network, and identify with Chinese culture.
