选择边疆民族地区作为研究对象，利用前人研究成果并结合实地调查与专家访谈，确定从区位条件、资源状况、社会环境以及地缘关系等四个维度来选择边疆民族地区旅游精准扶贫的关键性影响因素；力图贯彻精准扶贫理念，达到因地制宜、因人施策、区分开发及有效管理。同时利用结构方程模型对各个因素进行分析，阐述各因素之间的影响机制，对边疆民族地区旅游精准扶贫影响因素进行较全面的解读。
