摘要/Abstract

民国时期的教育家灿若星海，教育思想及理论喷泉涌现，令人望尘莫及，我们不惊要发问“为何民国时期教育界会涌现出如此之多的泰斗级人物，然而当代却凤毛麟角？”出现这种现象的根源是什么？回顾民国教育史，发现“文官治国”的文化传统、救亡图存的社会需要、文理失衡的学科制约和民主自由理念下的教育改革之风盛行是导致民国教育事业蓬勃发展的根源。深入探究其根源，有助于我们通古晓今，对我们当代伟大教育思想的产生、高等教育的繁盛发展起一定的启示作用。

In the Republic of China era, there had emerged in large number of famous educationalists, educational thought and theoretical fountain, so for no one can catch up with them. Why so many representative educational figures were existing on the period of the Republic of China? While today are less and less? what is the root cause of this situation? Review of history, it is found that the cultural tradition of officialdom is the natural outlet for good scholars”, the need of saving the nation, valuing literature while ignoring the discipline restriction and under the concept of democracy and freedom the education reform is popular，which are deep factors affecting the emergence of outstanding educators during the period of the Republic of China. To probe into its roots, not only important for our deep understanding of the history, but also do importance to facilitate our great contemporary educational ideas and the Prosperous development of our higher education.
