摘要/Abstract

马歇尔•麦克卢汉是西方传播学的巨匠，他的著作《理解媒介—论人的延伸》问世之后，在整个西方乃至全世界引起了强烈的冲击，他的理论主要内容是媒介是人体的延伸，媒介即讯息，冷媒介与热媒介。我认为在麦克卢汉的理论中有创新与可取之处，也有一些不完善不科学之处，我们应该用批判性的眼光科学对待，特别是在当今全球化的背景下，更应该好好研究其理论的应用意义。

Marshall Mcluhan is a great master of western journalism . His book 'understanding media: the extension of man' caused a strong shock in the western world. The main content of his theory is the media is an extension of the human body, the medium is the message, cold media and hot media. There are many innovation and desirable points in Mcluhan's theory, while there are also some imperfect places. We should treat it scientifically and critically. Especially in the current context of globalization, we should attach more significance to the research of the theory’s application.
