With a purpose of interpreting this point and clarifying the relation of writing origin to language, the paper analyzes two basic types of writing formations----ideographic and phonetic formation---and their oppositeness, explores how they decide the adverseness of motion between Chinese and Western language’s systems with their three elements: writing, phonetic voice, and meaning, and then examines how the different origins causes the opposite language phenomena between Chinese and Western alphabetic languages.
