摘要/Abstract

本文深入探讨了基因编辑技术在考古发掘领域的应用。首先详细阐述了基因编辑技术的原理、发展历程及常见的类型,如CRISPR-Cas系统等。接着重点论述了其在考古发掘中的多方面应用,包括对古代生物样本进行精准的物种鉴定和种群动态研究,以揭示古代生态环境及人类对资源的利用;通过分析古代人类遗骸,确定亲缘关系、追溯迁徙模式和探究疾病遗传基础;在文化传承与保护方面,助力揭示文化传播路径和为文物保护提供科学依据。然而,基因编辑技术在考古应用中并非一帆风顺,面临着古代DNA质与量不佳、技术误差与污染、伦理法律约束以及数据解读复杂等诸多挑战。尽管如此,未来仍可期,有望通过技术创新、跨学科深度合作、完善伦理法律规范以及加强公众教育与参与等举措,不断突破困境。基因编辑技术的应用将为考古学带来前所未有的机遇,推动考古研究取得更丰富且准确的成果。


This paper deeply explores the application of gene editing technology in the field of archaeological excavation. Firstly, it elaborates in detail the principle, development history and common types of gene editing technology, such as the CRISPR-Cas system, etc. Then, it focuses on its multi-faceted applications in archaeological excavation, including precise species identification and population dynamics research on ancient biological samples to reveal the ancient ecological environment and human utilization of resources; by analyzing ancient human remains, determining kinship, tracing migration patterns and exploring the genetic basis of diseases; in terms of cultural inheritance and protection, it helps reveal cultural dissemination paths and provides a scientific basis for the protection of cultural relics. However, the application of gene editing technology in archaeology is not all smooth sailing. It faces many challenges such as poor quality and quantity of ancient DNA, technical errors and contamination, ethical and legal constraints, and the complexity of data interpretation. Nevertheless, the future is still promising. It is expected that through measures such as technological innovation, in-depth interdisciplinary cooperation, improvement of ethical and legal norms, and strengthening of public education and participation, difficulties will be continuously overcome. The application of gene editing technology will bring unprecedented opportunities to archaeology, helping to uncover the mysteries of human history more deeply and comprehensively, and promoting archaeological research to achieve richer and more accurate results.
