This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the "Lao XX" structure in the dialect of Wen County, Jiaozuo. Structurally, "Lao" functions as an adverb of degree modifying monosyllabic adjectives, among other elements, distinguishing it from Mandarin and other dialects. In terms of syntactic components, it can serve as a predicate, attributive, adverbial, complement, or be used independently, but it cannot function as a subject or object. Its emotional connotations encompass both positive and negative nuances, and its usage scenarios include daily communication, degree description, and the expression of familiarity. Historically, its formation is influenced by Jin dialect, alongside the need for emphasis and linguistic economy. The study of this dialect holds significant importance for the preservation of Wen County's cultural heritage, serving as a link between regional culture and local identity. Against the backdrop of the widespread adoption of Mandarin, the transmission of the Wen County dialect warrants considerable attention.
