中国共产党历来重视卫生健康事业的重要地位。新中国成立以来，中国共产党领导中国卫生健康事业不断发展，经过探索与起步、改革与创新、充实和完善、全面推进拓展四个阶段，中国卫生健康事业呈现出了光明前景。总结基本经验，推动卫生健康事业的发展必须始终坚持党的领导、必须坚持以人民为中心、必须坚持改革创新、必须坚持法治思维。站在新的历史起点上，必须增强卫生健康事业的自主供给能力、必须强化卫生健康事业发展的顶层设计、必须提升卫生健康事业的公平性和普惠性，为全面推进健康中国建设作出更大贡献。

The Communist Party of China has always valued the vital importance of the health and wellness sector. Since the founding of New China, the Communist Party has led the continuous development of China’s health and welfare sector, which has undergone four stages of exploration and initiation, reform and innovation, enrichment and improvement, and comprehensive promotion and expansion. The health and wellness sector in China now holds promising prospects. To summarize the basic experiences, driving the development of the health and wellness sector must always adhere to the Party’s leadership, prioritize the people’s well-being, embrace innovation and reform, and uphold the principles of the rule of law. At this new historical juncture, it is essential to enhance the autonomous supply capacity of the health and wellness sector, strengthen top-level design for its development, and promote its equity and inclusivity to make greater contributions to the comprehensive construction of a healthy China.
