Latin America, a vast and mysterious land, has nurtured rich and diverse cultures and a long history. Its unique historical background, geographical environment, and social changes have jointly shaped splendid and colorful cultural phenomena, among which food culture is particularly eye-catching.
Latin American food culture is deeply influenced by its geographical environment. From tropical rainforests to alpine snowfields, from vast grasslands to the vast oceans, the Latin American region is endowed with abundant natural resources, providing local residents with a variety of food choices. These ingredients, under the skillful hands of Latin American people, are cooked into various delicious dishes, forming unique dietary flavors.This paper aims to deeply explore the characteristics of Latin American culture and its food culture, the influencing factors, as well as the dissemination and challenges in the context of globalization, in order to provide a new perspective for understanding and appreciating Latin American culture.
