The advancement of ecological civilization in the new era is pivotal to the comprehensive implementation of the grand blueprint for a Beautiful China, serves as the fundamental guarantee for the ecological well-being of the people, and constitutes a strategic underpinning for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the "Two Centenary Goals." In the context of the new era, ecological civilization construction faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Scientific thinking methodologies, as a distinct manifestation of Marxist standpoint, viewpoints, and methodology, provide a robust theoretical foundation and practical guidance for advancing ecological civilization in this new historical phase. This paper aims to explore seven critical thinking methodologies and elucidate their pivotal role in driving the construction of an ecological civilization in the new era.
