综合梳理新时代“人民城市”研究的现有成果，当前学界的理论关注主要集中于内涵阐释、理论溯源与治理探索等研究方向。从内涵阐释来看，主要有以下几点侧重：从“人民”概念出发阐发其与社会主义制度的本质关联、着眼“城市”维度关注对城市历史演进的规律性认知以及立足“人民城市”概念总体性进行内涵解读。在理论溯源方面主要关注对马克思主义城市发展思想的理论追溯、对中华优秀传统城市建设智慧的理论凝练、对中国共产党城市建设初心的理论传承以及对西方先进城市科学理念的理论借鉴。在治理探索上主要着眼于探讨人民城市理念与治理的内在关系、研究彰显人民城市理念的治理样态以及总结践行人民城市理念的治理实践。未来尚需在共性特征凝练以及人民城市治理等方面深入研究。

Comprehensively combing the existing research on "people's city" in the new era, the current theoretical attention of the academic community mainly focuses on the research directions of connotation interpretation, theoretical traceability, and governance exploration. From the perspective of connotation interpretation, there are mainly the following points: starting from the concept of "people" to explain its essential relationship with the socialist system, focusing on the dimension of "city" to recognize the law of urban historical evolution, and interpreting the connotation based on the overall concept of "people's city". In terms of theoretical traceability, they mainly focus on the theoretical tracing of Marxist urban development thinking, the theoretical condensation of the wisdom of Chinese excellent traditional city construction, the theoretical inheritance of the original intention of the Communist Party of China in urban construction, and the theoretical reference of Western advanced urban scientific concepts. In terms of governance exploration, they mainly focus on exploring the intrinsic relationship between the concept of people's city and governance, studying the governance mode that highlights the concept of people's city, and summarizing the governance practice of practicing the concept of people's city. In the future, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the formation of conceptual consensus, the condensation of common characteristics, and the governance of people's city.
