The performing arts such as Guqin, Tanci, Ancient Chinese Magic, Shadow Puppetry, Layangpian, Henan Biandanxi, ventriloquism that were popular in Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty have not been seen in The ' Zhong Guo Qu Yi Zhi ' and The ' Zhong Guo Xi Qu Zhi '. Due to the lack of documentation, the development of these art varieties in Xinjiang does not have the value of in-depth research, but it has important enlightenment for peeking into the propagation path of the central plains culture to Xinjiang, and the survival and development of folk art in Xinjiang. The development of Xinjiang's art and culture in the Qing Dynasty was highly consistent with that of the central plains. Immigrants from different stratum and different periods of time brought corresponding art varieties to Xinjiang. However, whether a art can survive and inherit for a long time in Xinjiang depends not only on its own artistic charm, but also on the cultural choices of the Xinjiang people.
