In the Big Data era, the statistical analysis ability in management is put forward higher requirements. The Statistics for economics and management major need to keep pace with the times. Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the current statistics teaching, this paper proposes the curriculum teaching objectives and reform ideas in the Big Data era. The paper put forward the reform path from the aspects of teaching content, teaching methods, case teaching, practical teaching, teachers’ resources and so on. Through statistical teaching reform, it aims to cultivate students" statistical thinking and data processing ability and improve teaching effect.
