Wang Zhengjun, was the empress of Liu Shi, Yuan Emperor of the western Han Dynasty; and the mother of Liu Ao, Cheng Emperor. She had been the queen for sixty-one years, including empress, empress dowager, and grandma-empress. And she held the imperial court and became in charge of the affairs of state during the Ping Emperor era. She underwent four generations of the western Han Dynasty and the New Dynasty of Wang Mang in total. She had a great desire and possessiveness for power, and controlled the state affairs for decades in superb political trickery and wisdom under the rather disordered political situation in the late western Han Dynasty. Wang Zhengjun achieved the Wang Clan. In addition, she, with her clan, supported and assisted to each other mutually, which made the Wang Clan can wield power and be in dictatorship for decades in the late western Han Dynasty.
