In recent years, the trend of “introduction” has prevailed in the circle of Chinese variety show.Television stations spend huge amounts of money to buy copyrights from foreign countries to copy those TV variety show of high television ratings, and the successful cases are countless. From The Voice of China and Chinese Star Jump to Dad, Where are we Going and Happy Sunday, which are hot discussed recently. It is not difficult to find out that the mode productions of variety show have been innovated and changed in order to meet the needs of the audiences and the development of the society. Based on the case study of the two programs ——Dad, Where are we Going and Happy Sunday, and from the perspectives of the changing of program making schemata, the particularity of the program participants and the program orientations, this thesis aims to analyze the reasons that why shoes emerging filed documentary reality shows anticipated by stars on a Chinese TV screen get huge success.
