摘要/Abstract

瓦当是我国传统土木结构建筑屋顶上的重组成部分，是屋檐上筒瓦顶端所接的下垂部分，俗称筒头瓦，既可以蔽护椽头，又是一种装饰。笔者在此文中将魏晋南北朝之莲花纹瓦当分为南北两个区域，一条是以北朝为主，主要研究北朝（北魏）洛阳莲花纹瓦当；另一条则是以南朝为主，同时也包括东晋，即都以南京为都城的六朝建康莲花纹瓦当。最后我们将会以南北朝莲花纹瓦当纹饰的演变为基础探讨南北方文化的交流与传播。

Eaves tiles is an important part of the roof in our traditional civil architecture，it’s the part of the sag of pantile,which Commonly known as the cylinder head tile. Eaves Tiles can sheltered the sally,and also can be a kind of decoration. In this article, the author classify the lotus pattern eaves tiles into north and south two categories in wei,jin, southern and northern dynasties.One of thecategories focus on Luoyang lotus pattern eaves tiles in northern dynasties, another focusing on Jiankang lotus pattern eaves tiles southern dynasties ,which aslo include the eastern jin dynasty.Finally,on the basis of the evolution of lotus pattern eaves tiles in wei,jin, southern and northern dynasties,the author discuss the cultural communication of the south and north.
