摘要/Abstract

托马斯•哈代的诗歌中运用了丰富的音乐元素，这些音乐元素体现在其诗歌形式及诗歌内容上。本文通过对哈代诗歌音乐性的讨论，挖掘其美学意义及其诗歌体现的达尔文主义思想，以展示哈代面对残酷世界的另类积极态度，即只有勇敢接受现实，努力改变自己才能生存，才能适应社会的变化。

Thomas Hardy applies rich musical elements in his poetry, reflected in his poetic form and poetic content. This thesis discusses these musical elements, in attempt to explore the aesthetic significance and Darwinism revealed in Hardy’s poetry, sharing Hardy’s distinctive positive attitude with the cruel world: to accept the reality bravely, and to change oneself to adapt to changes of the society.
