摘要/Abstract

许建忠教授的新作《翻译地理学》系统地探讨翻译与地理的关系，开创了一个交叉性的新学科，以其创新性的思维和方法为译界的未来发展提供了新的研究视角，为中国争得了在世界翻译界的话语权。本文对此书进行介绍和简评。

Professor Xu Jianzhong’s monograph Translation Geography systematically probes into the relationship between translation and geography, establishing a new interdisciplinary branch of translation. The innovative thinking and methods involved have provided translators with a leading light, guiding the future development of translation. With this book, Chinese translators have gained the right to speak in the world. This paper makes a brief comment on the newly-published book.
