A chunk in itself is the grammatized lexicon, in which grammar and lexicon are interrelated and inseparable from each other. This paper tries to put forward some suggestions on English grammar teaching by exploring the relationship between chunks and language acquisition and the different uses of chunks in grammar teaching.
