《我没有自己的名字》以一个“傻子”的视角，讲述他被别人欺辱的人生，用“傻子”和狗的无助反衬人性残酷的一面。作品中“名字”以及人物具有复杂的象征意义，这种象征赋予作品深刻的悲剧色彩。

The novel, I haven’t my own name, tells us a fool’s ignominious life, which is narrated from a perspective of a fool. In contrast to the helplessness of the fool “LaiFa” and the dog, the cruel aspect of human nature is revealed. In the novel, fool’s name and the characters have complicated symbolic meanings, which endow the novel a more profound tragic meaning.
