Phyllis Zatlin的著作《从翻译实践角度看戏剧翻译与影视译写》是一部探讨戏剧影视翻译这一较少探索领域的佳作，论及戏剧影视翻译的诸多方面，其中的真知灼见令人耳目一新。该书应用的主要理论是顺应理论，而其根据理论与实践相结合的原则总结出的戏剧影视翻译方法，既实用又可行。

Phyllis Zatlin’s Theatrical Translation and Film Adaptation. A Practitioner’s View explores an area less studied, and has been well-received throughout the world. ‘Adaptation theory’ applied in the book is thoroughly blended with the theatrical and film translation practice, thus offering the penetrating judgments and feasible and practical approaches.
