摘要/Abstract

1949年新中国建立以来特别是改革开放以来，云南多民族社会发展取的了巨大的发展，但由于历史起点低、地理环境差、两元结构突出等原因，具有总体发展水平不高、在全国居于后列和全省各地发展不平衡的特点，许多方面的滞后程度较之于经济方面的落后还要突出。作者认为，缩小中国的地区差别，首先要考虑缩小社会发展方面的差别，并对加快云南多民族社会发展的指导思想、总体目标、发展思路提出了积极的建议。

The multi-nationality society of Yunnan has made considerable headway since 1949 when the People’s Republic of China was found, especially since the reform and open policy was implemented. However, it is poor at historical foundation and geographical conditions. And it’s binary structure is outstanding. So, the level of total development is not high and occupies the later place in the country. The development of different areas in the whole province is in a state of imbalance. The problem of a sluggish growth in many aspects is more outstanding than the backwardness of economy. The writer thinks that reducing the distinction in social development is prior to reducing the regional distinction in China. The writer also offers positive suggestions for guiding ideology, total goal and development thinking in order to accelerate the development of multi-nationality society of Yunnan.
