果戈理笔下的人与物——从写物艺术再探《死魂灵》的思想内涵

写物艺术在文学作品里具有揭示性格(灵魂)、表现文化、构建情节结构等艺术功能。在俄罗斯文学中,从写物艺术方面看很少有人能比得上果戈理。他毕生都在探讨人与物、物与灵魂的关系问题。应该说,探讨果戈理的写物艺术是解读《死魂灵》的重要前提。本文主要着眼于果戈理的《死魂灵》中与物有着密切联系的人物--泼留希金的形象释析,探讨该人物形象所具有的物性特征及作家的写物艺术,从而进一步理解《死魂灵》的思想内涵。
Depicting art in literary works bears the artistic function of uncovering personality, expressing a culture and constructing a plot. In Russian literature, judging from depicting art, hardly anybody exceeds Gogol. He explores the bonds between human characters and things, and things and the soul. It follows that a probe into depicting art of things is an important prerequisite to the understanding of Dead Souls. This paper concentrates on the analysis of the character Plychikin, who has a close bearing to things, discussing the figure in terms of symbolism of things and Gogol's depicting art in order to further understand the insightful notion of Dead Souls.
