Pavilion (Tingzi) is a kind of traditional Chinese architecture, which originated in the Zhou Dynasty. They are usually built beside roads or in gardens as landscape buildings for people to rest, stay and enjoy the scenery. In the old urban area of Jinan, pavilions are numerous and widely distributed. The relevant historical figures include Du Fu, Li Yong, Emperor Qianlong and so on. Therefore, these pavilions are an important historical and cultural resource of our city.
