语言是文化的重要载体，它与文化有着紧密的联系。在语言中，尤以词汇最为活跃，词汇和语言学中的隐喻成为了人们认识世界的一种方式。在汉语和英语中有许多动物词汇，人们借这些动物词汇来表达自己的感情，因此动物词汇在日常交往中被人们广泛利用。然而，受到地理环境、历史传统、宗教信仰等因素的影响，中英动物词汇所代表的内涵有时有所差异，它们代表着各自不同的文化观念。本文意从隐喻视角下对中英动物词汇的文化内涵进行对比，分析其异同的原因。

Language is an important carrier of culture, and it is closely related to culture. In language, especially vocabulary is most active, vocabulary and metaphors in linguistics have become a way for people to understand the world. There are many animal words in Chinese and English, and people use these animal words to express their feelings, so animal words are widely used in daily interactions. However, due to the influence of geographical environment, historical traditions, religious beliefs and other factors, the connotations of Chinese and English animal words sometimes differ, and they represent different cultural concepts. This paper aims to compare the cultural connotations of Chinese and English animal words from a metaphorical perspective and analyze the reasons for their similarities and differences.
